FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Teebox tournament was a fantastic way to put my lessons and range sessions at Teebox to the test in a fun and competitive setting. Playing it on the same weekend as the actual tournament made it even more exciting—you could see how the pros navigated the course and then try to replicate their shots (with varying degrees of success!). I can’t wait for the next one!

I really liked the tournament and will for sure play again. It added a bit of competition and pressure to simulator golf that you don’t otherwise get. The format of 9 holes made it easier to compete with everyone & playing the same courses as the majors was a good touch

  • The nett and gross Order of Merit winners will be crowned Tee Box Champion Golfers of the Year.
  • There will also be prizes for the lowest nett and gross scores, nearest-to-the-pin and longest drive for each round.

FAQ’s

What if I miss a round?
Our members need flexibility, so only your 3 best rounds count towards the overall Order of Merit. As a result, you only need to play in 3 of the 8 rounds to have an equal chance of winning, although the more rounds you play, the more opportunities you have to make up for a lousy one!
What if I shoot a terrible score?
Don’t worry— we’ve all been there. As a result, we have given three attempts at each round to shoot your best score.
Do I need a Trackman Handicap?
Yes, you need a Trackman Handicap. Although we have opened the competition to everyone, we recommend you only consider entering if your handicap is less than 28.
How do I get a Trackman Handicap?

You must login to your Trackman account and complete 3 x 9-hole virtual golf rounds minimum. If you need more information, follow this link here. Still not sure? Ask a team member during your next simulator session or email [email protected]; we can help with any questions you may have

How many rounds must I play to get my Trackman Handicap?
To stop abnormally low scoring, you must have played three qualifying rounds for your Trackman Handicap to enter the Order of Merit.
What if I’m a Beginner or haven’t completed 18 holes yet?
Although we have opened the competition to everyone, we recommend you only consider entering if your handicap is less than 28. Do not worry; we have plenty of competitions and events planned for you in the coming weeks, so we promise you aren’t missing out!
What is a Gross Champion?
Gross is when a Golfer’s score is not adjusted for their Trackman Handicap—the Golfer who shoots the lowest score for each round and the overall Order of Merit.
What is a Nett Champion?
Nett score is when a Golfer’s score is adjusted for their Trackman Handicap—the Golfer who shoots the lowest score relative to their Trackman Handicap. Nett scoring gives everyone a chance to win by levelling the playing field.
